nXP

nXP is a value originating from the german nutritional systems. It represents the quantity of digestible intestinal protein and as such it has a comparable function in the feed evaluation system as the dutch value DVE. The value is calculated by estimating the quantity of protein produced by the rumen (microbial protein, MP) and add it to the quantity of digestible bypass protein (UDP).
